My software programs are quick reference guides that provide self-help, basic training and basic diagnostic and repair information. The main program menu in each program provides topic buttons that take you to each section within the program. Within each section are articles and illustrations on the topic covered.
NOTE: The material in my programs is written to cover as broad a range of vehicle applications as possible. In some programs, repair information is provided for specific vehicle applications. But in most cases, repair procedures are "generic" and apply to almost any vehicle
CarleySoftware programs do NOT contain vehicle specific service manual procedures or specifications. If you need vehicle specific service information, I would recommend an online service information provider such as AlldataDIY. Mitchell One Auto Repair Information, or the OEM Vehicle Service Information websites. All of these charge a fee to subscribe to their services.

No. Books are very expensive to print, expensive to mail and are obsolete the day they are printed. Software is inexpensive to produce, cheap to mail or free to download, and can be easily updated as needed. Most of the content pages within CarleySoftware programs have a PRINT button that allows you to print out a page if you want to make a hard copy of the material.
The EVERYTHING collection also contains a large section of REFERENCE FILES in PDF format that can be printed out individually.

As of January 2024 we have discontinued offering our software on CDs or flash drives. Rising postage costs make downloads a more affordable option.

The authoring software I used to create my programs does not have an automatic or adjustable size feature, so you can't enlarge the size of the program screen directly. When I first created these programs, most monitors were in the 14 or 15 inch size range. Today we have everything ranging from 14 inches up to 24 inches or even larger, so it is difficult to pick one size that fits all. So here is the work around:
You can make the program menu screen appear LARGER by changing (LOWERING) your monitor screen resolution temporarily.
With Windows 7, right click anywhere on your desktop screen, then choose the SCREEN RESOLUTION option to change the setting. The aspect ratio for your monitor or laptop may vary, but choosing 1280x768 might be a setting to try. You may have to try several different settings to get the right fit and appearance on your screen. When you are done using the software, you can change back to your previous high resolution setting.
With Windows 10 or 11, right click anywhere on your desktop screen, then choose DISPLAY SETTINGS, then DISPLAY RESOLUTION. Choose a lower value than what you have now (again, the 1280x768 or similar may work the best) to adjust the screen resolution for better readability.
