Larry's articles have earned thirteen writing excellence awards from the American Society of Business Press Editors (ASBPE) and two from Automotive Media Conference (APEX). He has also received awards from the Society for Technical Communications (STC) for articles and books.

Larry has written technical manuals, instructional videos and other technical articles for numerous automotive aftermarket companies including Bosch, BWD Corp., Fel-Pro, Federal-Mogul, GKN, NAPA, Raybestos and Wells. Larry has also written automotive articles for Microsoft's Encarta Encyclopedia.

Larry also writes a monthly product and training newsletter for NAPA Auto Parts called PitStop (for parts store employees) and Tech's Edge (for NAPA installer customers).
